Use Tumblr to Collect and Spread Stories
Planned Parenthood utilized Tumblr's Submit feature to collect stories and start conversations about sexual and reproductive health.
Planned Parenthood wanted to spread information about sexual and reproductive health, so it engaged its Tumblr followers in public conversations about these issues. Using the site’s Submit feature, users could ask Planned Parenthood questions about sexual and reproductive health directly, which the organization would then answer publicly.
Along with answering questions, Tumblr’s multimedia format allowed Planned Parenthood to post infographics, videos and other eye-catching content. Users can “like” and reblog content, vastly expanding the reach of Planned Parenthood’s information.
